Job Purpose:

You will lead internal communications across the Cavello Group, working with all stakeholders to ensure our people feel informed, engaged, and connected to our purpose and values.

 

Beyond delivering clear, consistent messaging, you will champion our employer brand internally, create memorable experiences through events, and foster a culture that reflects who we are and what we stand for.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Internal Communication Strategy

     

    • Develop and implement innovative communication strategies that keep employees informed, inspired, and connected.

    • Ensure all messaging reflects our brand voice, reinforces SPIRE values, and demonstrates how we deliver For Better Living for our people.

       

  • Employer Brand Development

     

    • Partner with HR and Marketing to define and embed our employer brand internally.

    • Create campaigns that celebrate our culture, achievements, and people stories, always linking back to SPIRE values and our vision.

    • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency across all internal touchpoints.

       

  • Content Creation & Channel Management

    • Produce engaging content for email, intranet, newsletters, and digital screens.

    • Introduce creative formats (video, podcasts, interactive content) to enhance engagement, ensuring alignment with SPIRE values.

       

  • Event Management

    • Lead the planning and delivery of internal events, including town halls, celebrations, and employee engagement activities.

    • Take ownership of the annual staff conference, ensuring it reflects our strategic priorities and demonstrates how we live For Better Living.

       

  • Office & Cultural Branding

    • Maintain and evolve office branding to create an environment that reflects our values and inspires collaboration.

       

  • Leadership Collaboration

    • Work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the Cavello Group to communicate business updates effectively and transparently, embedding SPIRE values in every message.

  • Measurement & Continuous Improvement

    • Monitor and analyse the impact of internal communications and events, using insights to drive improvements that strengthen our culture and vision.

  • Ensure that you fully understand the company and department business plan and how these impact your day–to–day responsibilities.

  • Office presence required four days per week, with one day remote/flexible.

  • Always maintain a smart and professional appearance and ensure that you wear suitable personal protective equipment during on-site activities provided by the business.

  • Liaise with your line manager to ensure you understand your objectives and goals.

  • Liaise and communicate with internal colleagues positively and proactively.

  • Ensure that internal and external communication is always professional, polite, informative, and helpful.

  • When dealing with difficult situations, seek guidance from your Line Manager.

  • Conduct yourself appropriately when representing the company in a professional or sociable environment.

  • Ensure there is no “overlap” during holidays to ensure Marketing remains operational.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • No formal degree required; experience or interest in communications, marketing, or events is beneficial. Training or certifications in communications or related fields are a plus but not essential.


Experience:

Experience:

  • Previous experience in internal communications, marketing, or event coordination is desirable but not mandatory.

  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, email systems) is helpful.


Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience in internal communications, with a strong understanding of employer branding.
  • Creative thinker with excellent writing and storytelling skills.
  • Skilled in event management and able to deliver high-profile internal events.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
